Tool updates in the app
Desktop app
- When a tool has a newer version, the app says so itself: Update available on the tool in Settings > Tools, a line above the list with Update all, and one quiet notice in the bell. The first time such a tool is used in a chat, the AI mentions it in one short sentence. An update keeps the tool's saved data and a paid licence.
- After a place search that found nothing or only wrong suggestions, just write the address again ("Storgata 1, Oslo" or "try Storgata 1"): GlirOS searches again by itself and shows it on the map, even with a small model.
Web version
- The guide has a new chapter, Keeping tools up to date. In the browser, tools always come from the site, so they are always the newest.
