Getting an API key

Each cloud provider's card in Settings > Cloud models has a Get a key link to the provider's own key page, and you can ask in any chat ("how do I get an API key for Gemini?"): GlirOS answers with the direct links.

  • Google Gemini: aistudio.google.com/apikey (guide: ai.google.dev/gemini-api/docs/api-key).
  • OpenAI: platform.openai.com/api-keys (guide: developers.openai.com/api/docs/quickstart).
  • Anthropic: platform.claude.com/settings/keys (guide: platform.claude.com/docs/en/get-api-key).

OpenRouter, Groq and Mistral are added as a server with their address. Paste the key, press Save key, and GlirOS checks it straight away. Never paste a key into a chat.
