The GlirOS Helper
The GlirOS Helper is a small AI model that runs on the user's own device, inside the browser. It is good for quick questions and help with GlirOS, not for demanding work.
GlirOS Helper (GPU) uses the graphics card through WebGPU and is faster; GlirOS Helper (Lite) uses the processor and works in every modern browser but is slower. Both use the same model, downloaded once.
The Helper is made for questions about GlirOS itself (its tools, models, settings and how to do things in the app). For anything else GlirOS answers first: it says so and offers a bigger model here (Ask <model>), Choose a model, or Ask the Helper anyway, which that chat then remembers; a job one of the user's tools does gets Open <tool> (or Switch on <tool>), because the Helper can't use tools itself. Its welcome suggestions are GlirOS questions.
