My calendar and My notes

Two built-in tools for your own things, kept on this PC.

2 min read

My calendar

Your appointments: a month, week and day view, repeats (daily, weekly, monthly, yearly), the holidays of your country (or all special days while Calendar & seasons is on: the Special days switch), reminders and .ics import and export. Your reminders from Timers & triggers show on their day, and Trip planner's "Add to My calendar" puts a trip in; later changes to the trip's dates follow by themselves. Ask in your own words: "put the dentist in my calendar on Tuesday at 12", "what do I have in my calendar this week?". A week or a day you ask about is shown as a card under the answer, with Open My calendar. Reminders come as a notice even with no chat open, while GlirOS runs (also in the tray), and are listed in Settings > Tools > Advanced > Timers.

My notes

Short notes found again by any word or #tag: "save in my notes: the WiFi password is on the router", "what is in my notes about the boat?". Pinned notes come first; .txt and .md go in and out.

Your data

In the desktop app both keep what you add on this PC, the same in every chat, and both go into the encrypted backup (Settings > Backup). Before the AI deletes an appointment or a note you are asked, and only your click counts; after the AI has read a web page, a document or another service in the same message, it asks before adding to them too. A notes question to a cloud model sends the notes it reads to that company, as the cloud notice says. In the web version they are kept in the browser for a year.

Memory off

With Memory off, "remember that …" offers once to keep it as a note in My notes instead.

This guide is the same text GlirOS itself uses to answer questions about GlirOS.
