Web version or desktop app: which is best for what
Both have the same chat, tools, files, projects, pictures with cloud keys, the activity log and Settings. The web version (gliros.com, in the browser) needs no install, runs the GlirOS Helper and bigger browser models on WebGPU, and has the browser's own fast translator for the Translator tool (Chrome and Edge); its media work runs in the browser (light mode: common formats). The desktop app runs bigger models faster on the PC's graphics card, handles every video format with ffmpeg, has the AI media add-ons, pictures made on the PC, Chatterbox voices and conversation mode, and works fully offline. For quick help anywhere use the web version; for heavy models, video and privacy offline use the desktop app.
