Community tools and paid tools

Besides GlirOS's own tool catalogue, tools come from two more places.

Community tools are made and hosted by other people and listed at community.gliros.com/tools; GlirOS doesn't review them. Install one with Settings > Tools > Advanced > Add from a link (under Your own tools): GlirOS shows the site, the address and the file's fingerprint and asks first, and it refuses a file that differs from the fingerprint in the link.

A community tool's page: made and hosted by its maker, not reviewed by GlirOS.
A community tool's page: made and hosted by its maker, not reviewed by GlirOS.

Paid tools in the catalogue are sold by their makers, not by GlirOS: such a tool shows its price and who sells it (and through which payment company, such as Paddle) with Buy, Enter licence key and Manage, and the licence is checked on this device. When a maker stops selling through GlirOS, Buy goes away; a licence you already have keeps working until it ends.

With a GlirOS account anyone can list a tool at community.gliros.com or sell one through community.gliros.com/sell (a monthly listing fee).

This guide is the same text GlirOS itself uses to answer questions about GlirOS.
